We received the following citation from Gill Andersson:
"I am delighted to have been asked to deliver the good news regarding the Disability Program Award as the recipients are, in my mind, totally deserving of this award.
In the short time that this Disability Group has been in action they have made amazing achievements.
The club only started in 2014 and its players have already competed and won trophies at National Level.
They have managed successfully to run a tournament against a group from London and have several Sussex coaches helping in their training sessions.
It is a fabulous example of a small group who have worked tirelessly to bring tennis to people who would otherwise not have the opportunity to enjoy the feeling of putting racquet to ball.
For their excellent work in bringing tennis to the Blind and Partially Sighted people of Sussex it is my great pleasure to be able to announce that the 2015 Disability Program Award goes to Sound Tennis in Sussex".
